Help Kids Talk hosted a shared learning event (May 2023)

In May we held a shared learning event to showcase our targeted interventions to support speech, language and communication skills for nursery and school aged children. Many thanks to Lisburn and Castlereagh Council for providing the venue for the event and special thanks to our speakers, Gillian Dunlop and Heather Taylor (Largymore Primary), Melanie Sherrin (Pond Park Nursery) and Pamela Jones (Belvoir Park Primary). The afternoon was a fantastic opportunity for education staff to come together to share successes and challenges and plan for future developments. Following this event a number of new settings have expressed interest in implementating the targeted programmes Early Talkboost and Talkboost in the new academic year.
