In this training we link our 12 key messages to KCA (formerly Kate Cairns Associates) five to thrive building blocks because we recognise the link between infant mental health, brain development and speech, language and communication skills. We share tips for supporting children’s language development in daily activities and routines.

In this training we explore the developmental milestones for speech, language and communication. We also share activities and strategies to support children at different ages and stages and explain when onward referral is appropriate. Anyone that attends the Level 1 will get a copy of our Level 1 training manual.

We are developing a suite of short sessions addressing different topics related to children’s speech, language and communication development. The aim of these sessions is to provide a little bit more information including; key facts, dispelling any myths and top tips/advice for supporting a child with this specific area of need.
